4th School on Physics of
Quantum Materials

This school aims to encourage and advance the study of quantum materials in Mexico. This will be done through invited talks, contributed talks, and short courses focusing on the latest developments and prospects related to quantum materials. These aspects include their electronic, magnetic, optical, superconducting, geometric, and topological properties. Additionally, the school seeks to facilitate collaboration between quantum field theory and computational simulations. To achieve this, a course will cover the fundamental tools of quantum field theory in condensed matter, and a workshop will provide training on computational simulation of materials using the Siesta code. These initiatives are primarily aimed at undergraduate and graduate students, as well as researchers with an interest in the field.
